We help families create their future by guiding children to learn, grow and become contributing members of society.
At ZIA Autism Services, we work with your child’s unique strengths to create and implement programs that brings out the best in them.
Our team begins with a detailed assessment followed by our Registered Behavior Analysts (R.B.A) who develop individualized treatment plans (IEP) based on the child's needs. Each IEP is supervised by both R.B.A and Supervised Senior Therapists and implemented by our qualified Supervised Instructor Therapists.
Speech therapy usually begins with an assessment by an SLP and weekly speech and language therapy sessions. Sessions can be scheduled as per the child's needs.

Eraj Zia - Clinical Director
I am a mother of a child on the Autism Spectrum and I understand what most parents might be going through. I have been involved in the field for the past 12 years. I also run a free support group for parents of children with ASD where I share information and hold group meet ups. This support group has been running for the past 8 years. I have been an advocate for my son & my students when it comes to dealing with the public school system and helping with obtaining the required level of supports. I have and will continue to achieve tremendous results for my students.
My passion is to work with families & children of all abilities to help improve the quality of their lives!
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects communication and behavior. Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is said to be a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, feeding, toileting, academics as well as adaptive learning skills, fine and gross motor skills, hygiene, grooming, domestic capabilities, punctuality, and job competence
Intensive Behavioural Intervention uses the principles of ABA for treatment, but the main difference is the level of intensity.
Speech therapy is treatment for problems with speaking, language, and swallowing. It is given by a speech therapist, also called a speech-language pathologist. Speech therapy helps with using the voice properly and using the muscles to make the right sounds. It helps people understand language and express themselves.
Occupational Therapy (a.k.a. OT) is a holistic profession that helps people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities, also known as “occupations”. ... Hence the name “occupational therapy”.
The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) has a new direct funding option that will provide families with the choice of receiving direct funding to purchase evidence-based behavioural services for their child or youth, or service through one of Ontario's regional providers.
